The Bass Big Muff takes EHX's classic fuzz effect and tweaks it for bass. Based on the old Sovtek green colored Big Muff Pi as well as the original EHX Big Muff Pi, the Bass Big Muff Pi has added features to make it more than just a one trick pony. In addition to its Volume, Tone and Sustain controls, it also has a three way switch allowing you to have three distinctly different tones.
Electro-Harmonix Bass Big Muff Pi Fuzz Features
Bass Boost: As the name implies, a bass frequency boost is added to the distortion.
Norm: This gives you the classic Big Muff Pi tone.
Dry: The original dry signal from your instrument is mixed with the output of the distortion circuit. The dry signal is constant and won't change as you turn the volume knob up or down.
The Bass Big Muff Pi is also true bypass, so bass players get the same great tone they've always had when the effect is disengaged.
Power: 9v battery or 9vDC power supply (100mA or more).
