Product Description
ObsidianWire Custom HH for Strat Gen2 6-Way pre-wired kit
Custom HH '6 Way' Gen2 - HH Strat Wiring Harness
We have built the Obsidian 6 Way HH wiring harness for Stratocaster with TUNEABLE DUAL SC (SPLIT COIL) so you can enjoy the full output and clarity of your humbuckers, AND switch them in to 'Split Coil' mode for lower output, single coil goodness that is fine tunable to your liking.
NEW // GEN 2 UPDATES
To improve on our already super popular Custom HH harness we have
- Added a tuneability function to the coil split - so you can craft your split coil sounds to be fuller and better rounded, or set them to 'quiet' for a more traditional full split.
- Easier Install - We have moved the push/pull coil split pot to the second tone control position to get it out of the way of the solderless connector, making for an easier install.
TUNABLE ESC (COIL SPLIT)
Turn your humbuckers in to single coils, and back again. To add true versatility to your guitar we build in TUNABLE SC, to split your humbucker to a single-coil for lower output, more dynamic tones.
We incorporate a Coil Split 'Voice' control, which allows you to fine tune the amount of signal that is sent to ground.
- 'QUIET' = FULL SPLIT (TRADITIONAL COIL SPLIT)
- 'LOUD' = SEMI SPLIT (LAMBERTONES SPLIT FOR FULLER SPLIT COIL)
TUNABLE SC is built in to your volume controls using push/pull pots, so no extra mods are required to your guitar.
- Requires split coil compatible humbuckers
CRYSTAL CLEAR TONE
Retain clarity at lower volumes. To make your tone crystal clear at lower volumes we include an Obsidian® Custom spec treble bleed mod. This prevents tone 'muddiness' at low volumes by allowing high frequencies to pass along a separate path to your amp, rather than being stopped short by the increasing resistance at the volume control.
