Late-'50s, vintage-correct, humbucker sound. Warm and crystalline clean tones. Full and bright distorted tones. Smooth sustain. Compared to the SH-55 Seth Lover, the '59 has slightly more scooped mids and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
Designed to accommodate Floyd Rose and similar locking bridges, the TB-59 features expanded pole spacing for more balanced string response as well as short legs to fit into the thinner bodies often found on Floyd Rose equipped guitars. Four conductor cable offers a wide variety of wiring and tonal options.
Application
Versatile P.A.F.-type humbucker. Great for country, jazz, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock.
Complete setup
Can be used with any of a variety of neck humbuckers, but is commonly used with the SH-1n '59 or the SH-2n Jazz model.
Guitars
For balanced and warm instruments. Works especially well with mahogany bodies and rosewood fingerboards.
